Terrible service chips half cooked (they use asda's cheap own make frozen chips, I know this as have bumped into owner in ther filling trolley with them) he also own a restaurant in Kirkcaldy that Gordon Brown ex PM used to go to, when you complain told not there problem,No Refund, i was that angry stood outside shop, they got police (1 police van and 2 police cars) when they came owner who runs both place offered refund for me to leave standing outside his premises,

Can never complain about any meal or rice i have ever had from there even there chips, would recommend 2 any1, thumbs up from me.

I am disgusted and appalled to find out that Maxim's sells shark's fin soup. Does everyone know that this is contributing to the extinction of the majority of shark species? Not to mention the fact that it is an utterly barbaric act!

food is awful,we ordered to meals that we could not eat.we had ordered food and stated that we did not want onions due to allergy.when we got home we luckily noticed the onions,we telephoned to explain this error only to be informed that they do not change food or refund.the owner was very ignorant,informed him that i would be informing locals of their lack of community spirit,he then said that he was not interested in the people of st andrews.so locals be aware before you go to this takeaway.pay extra for quality of service in the centre of st andrews.i am totally surprised that this place is still open due to the feedback i have had from locals.the owner was not interested that these two meals where for children with allergy to onions this could have been a terrible outcome however he was not interested.

Says it's open seven days a week?! That's rubbish as it is always closed in a Wednesday!

This takeaway on the site is not maxim St. Andrews located next to spar and dino's takeaway on Tom Morris drive. The real one is not on the site and has high quality food, not the menu provided here.
