We LOVE Darbar. My children can't wait to come home from NYC and Washington, D.C. to eat Darbar's delicious Indian food!

I ordered a £10 meal deal for one this evening. I don't know whether its because I ordered a discounted meal but it was rank. The starter (onion bahji and seek kebab smelt awful and tasted worse) and the main, Chicken Tikka Massalla was horrendous. Fatty, gristly chicken, tasteless fatty red sauce. I know good indian food and this is not it, contrary to other reviews. Would have taken it back and demanded money back if I wasn't in my PJs

Our first choice take away Eat East was closed so thought we'd give Darbar a chance. What a mistake!
My vegetable Dhansak was basically congealed yoghurt and flour with peas in. Not my definition of a Dhansak and I've eaten many. I am not over exaggerating by saying it was the most vile thing I have ever eaten! My mum reported her chicken Rhogan Josh wasn't good either.
Staff were extremely rude when I returned and would not refund the meal

Surprised at some of the comments. I ordered a set meal for 2 today. The quality of the food was amazing. I think knowing a good curry when you taste one requires good taste, being a food critic, i give it the thumbs up.

Well it's common sense how the food will be considering darbar's chef has managed to win awards! I absolutely adore their food. But don't take my word for it, just try it once for yourself and I guarantee you will be addicted to their food!

The worst takeaway curry I've ever had! Bland and swimming in oil. We ordered two curries and some starters and had to throw almost all of it away because it was so bad.
