Best kebabs there are, I will never order again from anyone else.

I used to order from here all the time a few years back until I moved out of the area. Well recently I have moved back to Cheadle Hulme and have been here a few times, each time giving it the benefit of the doubt. What a shame because this used to be the best Kebab house around but it's gone massively down hill. The naan bread is like cardboard it is vile, when you bite into it, it snaps off! It used to be made fresh in a clay oven, it was gorgeous but no Charlie's has been taken over by new management it has lost it's special quality.....The donna is so thin you can hardly taste it. Each time I have been here I've been ill. On checking the Food Standards Agency website I now understand why...It has only received a 2 rating! AVOID!!!

Waited 90 mins (ordered at 5:30 on a Thursday) for two cold kebabs, chips and two cans of Pepsi - food arrived cold with very badly burnt lamb and chicken - it really wasn't edible - ended up in the bin and Rottweiler. Staff wouldn't refund money - said they could send replacements within the hour - worst £17 I've ever spent - or the most expensive Pepsi ever! Use any other kebab shop, just not this one!!!! Note to CHARLIES - you can burn one kebab maybe slightly and let it slip through the net, two, I don't think so. just cover it in sauce and take their money - that's how that conversation went in the shop that day hey!!! Note to potential customers - save yourself a long wait, poor customer service and a costly meal - take your custom somewhere it's wanted.
