stomach bug from the chinese, worst of all, fish and chip side, order and pay for cod... all you'll get is cheap pollock or hoki...they think that you wont notice.....

We live in southwater but would never go there again as its horrid fish and chips and the chinese side is even worse.

they Pass off cheap whitefish as cod and the chips were'nt even cooked - they were rock hard! who on earth can cock up frying chips!!!

We ordered cod and chips for me and something chinese for my companion. We waited over 20 minutes (when others came and went in the same period) and when we got home - 5 minutes by car - my fish and chips had almost congealed in the wrapping into one greasy lump and almost cold. Obviously they were bagged as soon as we ordered and then left somewhere to go cold while they messed the other part of our order up.
They don't deserve another chance, and they won't get it from me.

Unpolite, numerous bad experiences. example ordered nearly £50 worth of food, nut 40pence short in cash, so they removed a portion of fried rice from the order. Chips are often rank, cod is certainly not cod!

Alright for lunchtime noodles and SOME Chinese food, but the fish and chips are rubbish - badly cooked, greasy, soggy batter.

The other negative reviewers must be confusing this with somewhere else. We have been getting our chips here for years (don't eat fish as we are vegetarian) and the chips are always excellent. When we have had vegetarian Chinese options, these have also been very good. For two years, we had a Chinese student staying with us (from Hong Kong) and he always enjoyed the Chinese food from the Capital (and he had meat options).
