Poor coffee, despicable service .
As a north Turramurra local I try to give my local businesses the benefit of the doubt and to give back... But this place is the pits. The food is average to poor on a regular basis, the coffee is always burnt and the guy that runs the place is a nasty piece of work... He is regularly rude to his Staff and his customers. Avoid ata all costs. The coffee at The Cooks Garden is far superior... Why not head down to Galley Foods at Bobbin hEad.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
This place could be so good but it's the lucky location that keeps these guys in business. The food is very ordinary but the service is a joke.

Go next door!
the value for money is poor and the service certainly doesn't compensate. The last time I went there I ordered 3 large hot chocolates at $5 a pop and they were in average sized coffee cups that were rather dirty. there is no care factor at all here, all the food is bought in and is nothing you can't get everywhere else ( so go anywhere else!) next door is cake cuisine that does wonderful homemade cakes and is run by a lovely couple who gladly accommodate- if you are in the area give them your patronage.

Don't go there, it's not worth it.
I live in the area and we are so lucky to have such a nice group of shops, and operators in North Turramurra. The Cooks Garden is great, lovely hairdresser, fantastic butcher and pool shop they are fantastic. All except the 'corner cafe'. The number of appalling stories about the 'corner cafe' from friends and family is quite simply unbelievable. From cake dropped on the ground to maggots in their chickens. I am genuinely surprised they have any business left and look forward to the day it is under new management so they can compliment all the other wonderful business' in the area.

Dreadful is too good to describe this.
I gave this place a second chance and regretted it. the coffee is extremely bad and the salad was off again also the sandwiches were not fresh they just don't care. They are extremely rude and rudely told 2 kids of about 11 years old to get out after they bought chips as they had a can of drink from somewhere else.
The cooks garden across the road has much better food and great coffee.
I am so glad IGA a couple of doors down are now doing bbq chickens (free range as well) as the chickens here are overpriced small and tough.
Avoid this place

Heading Downhill
Yea, new owners, here's hoping....
But no, even though the last guy was a bit of a grump, his BBQ chickens, while dear, were large and tasty and his medium chips would serve a whole family. Tried the new owners and the chickens are just awful - overcooked and dry, tasteless, with no seasoning or stuffing at all and much smaller. And the medium chips are in a large cup, not a box, and barely feeds two. Chicken, chips and a salad were $32!!!! Raising prices while lowering standards is never going to work in N Turra. The IGA has better chickens and the Cook's Garden better coffee.
